One the last 25 years I have been teaching, more like guiding, a ballroom dance fitness class called Rungo Dance Fit. It is a comprehensive approach to learning to dance by allowing your senses (sight, sound and feel) and body to find your own way. Some students find it fast, others take a while but without exception they ALL FIND their way with enough time. Classes are 55 minutes of dance, Cha Cha, Rumba, Tango, Swing, Funk, Hip Hop, Salsa, Rungo Mix dance, and more dance. We stretch , we work on our balance and posture, our arm styling and drill technique (for those who are ready). We do a lot of high intensity movement, some very slow and controlled movement but what we do most is, honor our music. The music is our inspiration and I am just there to help us find our way. From time to time a new gal enters the room and I know "WOW, she has found her new home" and indeed it is true. It happened yesterday.
