Imagine 20 people in the same room: retirees living their lives to the fullest, hard working, schedule sensitive successful professionals, special need adults and their mothers, and dance trainees pursuing a new career in dance. What are we all doing? We are preparing for our show at the 37th annual Festival of Trees at the Long Center in Clearwater, November 19 & 20th at 2 PM. Wow! How exhilarating it is to look out and see this diverse group of people working together, holding hands and stepping the the cadence of the director. We turned left and right, we swayed back and forth and we pointed our toes here and there; end result, a show. More importantly; end result community coming together and working as a sole unit to provide, joy, happiness and longevity for our audience and each other. What FUN!!!

Nick - I get to be in a performance with about 20 other people and practicing with them and helping them wherever I can is always the highlight of my week! With this many people it can get a bit crazy but Corinne keeps it organized and we all have way more fun than we bargained for.

Allison - Regardless of our backgrounds, the movement of dancing and enjoyment of music unites us all in a unique way. I feel honored to be among such a diverse group of people who’s love of dance keeps them moving, transcends inhibitions and provides a creative outlet to showcase how they personally feel the music.

Nina - As a professional mental health coach I can say with full confidence that the benefits of dance on the mind body and soul are numerous. To be a part a collective that supports such a cause adds incredible meaning and purpose to my life.

Christianna - You cannot put a price on bearing witness to the incredible moments when someone feels accomplished in the hard work they’ve put into their dancing. It is a feeling like none-other as a dance professional to help others dreams come true and to see them have that feeling. This group is one of the coolest I’ve been able to be a part of with people from all walks of life coming together for a great purpose!
